pushing it

Hi!
Remember this card I made...well I decided to make some tags using the scraps from all the paper I stamped with background stamps.
I think I pushed it....just a smidge too far!!! ;)

Went a little overboard on all the patterns and colours...
Oh well!

pretty poinsettia

Happy Friday!

Popping in to share this card that is totally inspired by one of my favourite designers Dawn McVey. I LOVED LOVED this post she did  last year introducing her Signature Christmas stamp set and how she uses her background stamps. I just LOVED the colours she used and all the different background stamps.

I LOVE background stamps!! LOVE LOVE them! I used PTI stamps and my Pretty Poinsettia digi stamp and my polka dot background stamp from my Jane's Bakery set....that's coming soon!!
I printed Pretty Poinsettia a few times...cut it out (it's really not that hard to cut them out), layered them and finished off with one of my buttons. I curled the leaves using my pencil.

I really like this colour combo and think that I'll be doing this for Christmas card and tags this year!

If someone would like to play around with my Pretty Poinsettia just leave me a comment and I'll randomly choose a winner....or two..;)
Have a great weekend!

P.S. You wanna check out a great video with my Mr. Smiles???
You even have a chance to win Mr. Smiles so if you're interested go visit Chrissy's blog

materials - ink (memento-sky blue, rose bud), (colorbox chalk-chestnut), stamps- PTI (Stocking Prints, Polka Dot Basics II, Damask Designs), Jane's Doodles (Pretty Poinsettia, Jane's Bakery)

I heart Christmas Trees

Hi!
First thanks to all who wished me to feel better...I do..thanks! ;) Now that I feel better and my two sons....my daughter has the stomach flu AND an ear infection!!!
Anyways...I was half way through this little project when I got sick...so here it is all finished...

I seriously LOVE this little sweet Christmas tree...and I think it would be great in rubber don't you think?! It's my latest digi stamps called I heart Christmas Trees and you can grab one for yourself here.

I coloured the tree with copics....added touches of glitter and bling. The sentiment is PTI's Signature Christmas.

I'm working on this image...it's my digi stamp Stacked Pumpkins also available at Squigglefly here.

And I also created this little flower embellishment...I made the rose out of fimo and it's as flat as a button.....I just gotta work on my technique a bit more and I plan on selling fimo roses at my Etsy shop.

Also the talented Joy (who won my very first Jane's Doodles rubber stamp set Jane's Bakery) created a card with it and you can check that out here. And speaking of this stamp set...it's on it's way!!! It has been shipped and please PLEASE people cross your fingers and toes that it goes through customs smoothly! ;)

Take care!!

Snowmand and Bird

Hi!
I can't believe it's Thursday....up until about noon I thought it was Wednesday!!! My husband says I'm lost in time and space...I'm starting to think he's right!  So some of my DT member created some cards with some of my new digi stamps....one of them being Snowman and Bird.

Don't they look like they're best friends!!! ;)

I also used Hero Arts stamps on this card. I used Ledger and the senitment is from the Holiday Dolls set.

You have to go and see what Alice and Mariana have created with my digi stamps!! I LOVE my ladies!!
To be totally honest with you I'm pretty sure Kelly won't have any cards because she's away and not sure about Lucy.....I've been soooo busy myself that I just asked if my DT had any free time (because it was sort of last minute) to have some cards ready for thursday....but I forgot to tell the ladies that they shouldn't link to each other because I'm not exactly sure who will have a card....so if there's any false info on my DT's blogs....my bad! ;) sorry!

And like always...if you'd like to play with these digi's...leave a comment and I'll randomly choose a winner to win Snowman and Bird and I heart Christmas trees which by the way will be available at Squigglefly this weekend.

Vintage Santa

Edit: Betsy's having a Vintage Findings challenge and I thought I could maybe squeeze this post in for the challenge. I'm so short on time and I'm not sure if Betsy will accept this entry but I'll give it a try anyways. :)

Edit: I forgot to announce the winner of my Babuška digi stamp....Tina! Email me and I'll send her to you!

Hi!
Hope you are all well. I'm just popping in to share this tag I made using my Vintage Santa digi stamp. All my stamps are hand drawn.

This image is super easy to colour...what's there to colour...the hat! ;) I coloured him with Copics...addes some red glitter to his hat. I distressed his beard using PTI's Vintage Touch Tea Dye Duo and a Q-tip...because it's a very small surface I had more control using a Q-tip.

I had these PTI stamped leaves from this set left over and they sort of reminded me of mistletoe...sort of ;)

I received this in the mail last week.....so proud of it! There's still time to enter my Mr. Smiles Giveaway here.

Anyways....my Vintage Santa is available at my Etsy store but I'd love to give one away so if you're interested just leave me a comment.
Have a great day!

babuška

Hi!
Just the other day I was talking to my friend and mentioned how I wish I had my Babuška (Babushka) doll that my dad bought me when I was little.....and then I go to the mall and spot this here pretty lady....

Perfect for my daughter's room...only I'll hold on to it for a while longer. Don't think she'll be too gentle with it so for now it's in my bathroom up high on a shelf....nice and safe! ;)

And speaking of Babuška's....I remember when I had my digi Babuška's stamp release for Squigglefly I received a few comments correcting my terminology...I know they are called MATRYOSHKA DOLLS but like I said....some of us Croats call them Babuška dolls...and here's my proof...

Anyways....I'm busy with home renovations and drawing (some more releases coming soon)....so why not give away one of my digi stamp Babuška dolls....Olga.

If you're interested just leave me a comment and I'll randomly choose a winner on Sunday.
Have a great day!!

P.S. Don't forget about my Mr. Smiles giveaway!!
