stamps n' stuff

Most of you already know that you can now find Jane's Doodles stamp also at Simon Says Stamp!! :) So THRILLED about this!!!

Also for my Croatian crafty peeps and neighbouring countries...check out my Etsy shop for my stamps....I don't have all of them there but I'll keep adding more so make sure to pop on over there.

And here's a card I literally did in 10 was for one of the father's in my son's daycare/preschool group...he's a firefighter and does so much for the group and the teachers asked if I could make a thank you card. I coloured the fire truck (which is a digital...can't remember where I bought it...a while ago) with my Graph'it makers.

Have a great day!

wrap it up!

Happy Friday! yay!!

I'm going to visit my goddaughter was her birthday a few days ago and I wanted to give her a little something so here's what I came up with...

I stamped the chevron pattern onto a kraft paper bag...the chevron stamp is of coarse from our Patterns for Him stamp set. I made the paper flower. :)

I also threw in LOTS of mini Snicker bars!! ;)

Have a great weekend!

Chocolate Chip Banana muffins

Last night I made these chocolate chip banana muffins and this is all that's left! :) It's especially my daugther's favourite. It's so easy to make...the hardest part is mashing the bananas and melting the butter.

1 3/4 cups (225 grams) all purpose flour (oštro brašno)
1/2 cup (100 grams) white granulated sugar (šećer)
1/4 cup (55 grams) light brown sugar (smeđi šećer)
1 teaspoon baking powder (prašak za pecivo)
1/2 teaspoon baking soda (soda)
1/4 teaspoon salt (soli)
1/2 cup (2 ounces) (65 grams)  white chocolate chips or chunks (I use semi-sweet chocolate)
3 large ripe bananas (approximately 1 pound or 454 grams), mashed well (about 1-1/2 cups)
1/2 cup (113 grams) unsalted butter, melted and cooled (maslac)
2 large eggs lightly beaten (jaja)
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract (vanila ekstrat ili šećer)

Preheat oven to 180 degrees C (350 degrees F) and place oven rack in the middle. In large bowl combine all the dry ingredients and chocolate chips. In a medium bowl combine mashed bananas, melted butter, eggs and vanilla. Lightly fold wet ingredients into the dry...don't over mix the batter. Spoon batter into prepared muffin tins. Bake 20-25 mintues (for me it's exactly 20 minutes).
Makes regular 12 muffins (for me it's anywhere between 12-14 muffins).

eye candy

I want to thank all who hopped along our stamp release blog hop....the DT and Guest Designer did an amazing job...I just LOVE LOVE all the projects created with our new stamps Sweet Heart, Dino-mite, Food On The Go and Doodle Bloom!!

I love Pinterest....I find so much inspiration there and it was this card by Amber (Damask Love) that inspired this tag I created using our new Sweet Heart stamp set.

I love making my own background paper....I created these 'cards' using Sweet Heart and Dino-mite stamp sets and versamark ink (I love the tone on tone look).

Have a great weekend!!
p.s. the winners are announced on the Jane's Doodles blog!

Jane's Doodles Stamp Release blog hop

And welcome to another Jane's Doodles Stamp Release blog hop.....finally LOL!

It's been a while but we're here...there's been some changes Judith and I have been working on....the shop for one...we've got a whole new look!!
We've also add two talented ladies to our DT to work with our digital stamps.

So....we've got 3 new stamp sets and on new digital stamp.

Dino-mite (designed by me)

Food On The Go (designed by me)

Sweet Heart (desinged by Mariana)

Doodle Bloom digital stamp (designed by me)

Here are my projects...

For this card I used our Dino-mite stamp set (coloured my images with Graph'it markers)...the balloon is from our Suzi stamp set.

I stamped the dino footprint all over the kraft cardstock using versamark ink...I don't like to measure anything so I just eyeballed it! :)

For this card I used our Food On The Go stamp set (my husbands favourite!) I stamped all the food images onto kraft cardstock using versamark ink and then using the MFT die cut out a 'note paper' where I stamped the sentiment on...very simple and cute! :)

I just LOVE flower images!! :) This Doodle Bloom is a digital stamp. I coloured the flowers with Graph'it markers. On the green strip of cardstock I stamped hearts from our Sweet Heart stamp set and added a SRM sticker.

For my last project I created this tag using our Sweet Heart and Food On The Go stamp sets.
I stamped hearts all over the tag and heat embossed the sentiment and steam with white embossing powder. Coloured the coffee with Graph'it markers and added a heart sticker...cute! :)

Now on to the fun part....the blog hoppin! :) We've got an AMAZING Guest Designer and loads of inspiration! Make sure to leave comments as you hope along for a chance to win all three stamp sets!! And I'll choose two winners who will receive the Doodle Flower digital stamp.

Jane (you are here)
Jennifer (Guest Designer)
Hope you have fun and get inspired!!
Good luck!

free donut digi

So it was about time I offered a free digital stamp and I was inspired by the mini donuts I made! So here's a card I created using the free donut digi...I coloured it with Graph'it markers...added some glossy accents to the frosting and a bit of brown glitter. The sentiment is from one of our new stamp sets! :)

Here's a photo of the mini donuts I so easy and my whole family LOVES them!!

11/3 cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 egg
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup milk
3 Tbls vegetable oil
2 tsp vanilla

Preheat oven to 180/350

Sift flour, baking powder, and salt into a small bowl (I never sift).  In a medium bowl, whisk together the egg and sugar.  Add milk, oil, and vanilla. Mix until well combined. Add the flour mixture, and mix until there are no lumps.  Fill each donut indentation about 3/4 of the way full.  Bake for 7-9 minute (an inserted toothpick will come out clean).  Remove donuts from the pan, and allow to cool completely on a wire rack.

For the chocolate glaze I just melt some chocolate and a bit of butter to make it smooth...there are different ways to prepare chocolate glaze but I find the way I make it is fine.

There's a giveaway over at the Jane's Doodles blog...I'll be announcing the winner tomorrow so if you haven't left a comment pop on over here for a chance to win our Holiday Patterns stamp set!
