back from holiday....again

Wow...this has been the most spontaneous summer....I got back from our second holiday on Thursday and as much as it's caused problems for my schedule (everything planned out the window!!) it's been one of the best summers! I'm so grateful that we had a lovely summer...with family and a safe one! Here are a few photo...we stayed with our family from Canada who have these beautiful summer homes...the place is called Zeljovići (close to Split)'s a very very old stone village way way way up on a mountain!! LOL I just love these old stone houses....even the roofs are made out of stone...just beautiful! Another thing I loved about this holiday is there was no internet,'s soooooo GOOD to leave that behind! I need to do that more often! So...enjoy these photos...hope you like them!

What a view eh?!!! Across the Adriatic sea is the BEAUTIFUL island of Brač!

I will announce the winner of my wedding anniversary on Monday. Have a lovely weekend!

Mini Jane's Doodles stamp release blog hop

Note: for those who won my handmade buttons...they have been sent!!!! So so terribly sorry it took forever...I added more buttons for being so late!! :(

Welcome to our mini Jane's Doodles stamp release!! We've added 2 new stamp sets to our shop! I've been super super busy this summer (those who follow my blog know we always have lots of family visiting from we had 3 weddings)...anyways we're releasing two sets!! I created my first card using our Double Trouble (designed by me) and the sentiment is from our Blessings Sentiments (designed by the talented Angeline).

I used Double Trouble for this card...and the cat is from our Suzi stamp set! I used my Graph'it markers and I drew the little arrow.

For my last card I thought it would be cute to do the animals all hanging out together....the cat from the stamp set Suzi is perfect for pairing up with the dog and parrot....this parrot is one of my favourites! cute! :) The polka dots on the kraft is from our Doodle Flowers stamp set.

Now it's time to hop along...of coarse we're giving away these two sets to one lucky winner so please leave a comment!! Oh...I think I did mention this but my inspiration for this set came from my youngest son who lost his tooth and from Laura's daughter Emma!!

See ya at the end of the hop!

Hello! I've got a special post today...celebrating my 12 year wedding anniversary (which was yesterday) was one of the best days of my life! I'm blessed that we are still going strong and in love!! :) I will also continue my 'Croatia month' theme with a little history lesson on the church where we got married.

A cute little card I made for my man! :)

'The parish Church of St Anselm located in the centre of Nin, was the Nin cathedral during the rule of Croatian Kings and later. It was built in the 6th century and restored during the reign of King Zvonimir in 1070 and through history suffered damage several times and assumed its present-day appearance in the 18th century.' What made it so special getting married in this church (besides the awesome history) is it's the church where my mom was baptised, had her first communion and confirmation...It meant the world to my mom too!

'On one side of the Bell Tower the lateral chapel of St Marcela called „Our Lady of Zečevo“ leans against the church; the church is from the 15th century and contains the statue of Our Lady with the Divine Child in her arms. The chapel also contains Renaissance work, a tombstone of the Nin Bishop, Juraj Divnić. In 1646, before the Venetian attack, the statue was transferred to Zadar and ten years later returned again to the lateral chapel of the Nin church, where it can be found today.'

Before the nervous...can you tell!! :)

Officially Mr. & Mrs. Beljo! The priest helped me with my dress as we walked out of the cute! :)

Did I ever mention that my husband comes from a BIG family....think the movie My Big Fat Greek Wedding people!! Here's a photo of me with my father in law and all his sister's and brother's...(I believe two are missing)!! There's that many on my mother in law's side!! LOL

Our bridal party

Our first dance! :)

So to celebrate I wanted to do a little giveaway...I'm giving away two things so there will be two winners...first giveaway is my Home Sweet Home stamp set!

The other giveaway is one of my favourite facial scrubs that is made in Croatia (gotta keep with the Croatian theme!!)..Nikel's Mild Exfoliant with Olive Tree...I LOVE's so gentle, doesn't irritate my skin...all natural ('Gentle exfoliant with micro-scrubbers of olive kernel, suitable for most sensitive skin. Removes dead cells, stimulates skin renewal deeply cleanses, refreshes and provides better hydration. Tightens pores. Increases effectiveness of products applied after the exfoliant.')

So if you're interested please leave a comment and I'll randomly choose two winners (everyone around the globe is welcome to play along!! :) ). This giveaway ends in a week! Good luck! :) xo
